Synthesized compounds were characterized by TLC, UV spectra, IR spectra, Mass spectra & 1H NMR. All the synthesized compounds were subjected to OGTT to gain preliminary information regarding the anti hyperglycemic effect in normal Albino Wister rats which were chosen for the study. Glibenclamide was chosen as the standard. Comparisiton of data was performed by one way ANOVA followed by post test and Dunnett s multiple comparison tests. The work of Mr. Ishan I.
