Sembikulam is a small village in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu state in southern India. The village has always been known to be a place of peace and quiet.It is occupied by people of all religions like Hindu, Muslim and Christianity living in harmony. The workers in the village leave their homes early in the morning to work in the flower gardens nearby. Some have their own gardens,and others go for wages.The flowers are then sent to market in Thovalai from where it is exported to the Gulf countries.
