Sabas Pretelt de la Vega (born April 11, 1946) is a Colombian economist and businessman and as of 2006 the Colombian Ambassador to Italy and concurrently Ambassador to Greece, San Marino, Malta, and Cyprus as well as Permanent Representative to the United Nations'' organizations based in Rome such as the Food and Agriculture Organization. Pretelt was also served as Colombian Minister of the Interior and Justice from 2003 to 2006. Sabas Pratelt de la Vega was born in Cartagena de Indias in the Department of Bolívar, Colombia on Aprill 11, 1946.
