Advent 2018 tritt nach langen Vorarbeiten die neue Ordnung gottesdienstlicher Texte und Lieder in Kraft. Sie ist eine moderate Revision" der bisherigen, vor genau 40 Jahren eingeführten Ordnung. Die Neuordnung wahrt die Jahrhunderte alte Tradition der gottesdienstlichen Lesungen, vor allem der Sonn- und Festtagsevangelien. Ebenso enthält sie weiterhin die Predigttexte in sechs Jahrgängen. Drei Neuerungen wird man besonders spüren: Die Anzahl der Predigttexte aus dem Alten Testament hat sich nahezu verdoppelt und umfasst nun ein Drittel, in den einzelnen Predigtjahrgängen wechseln nun Evangelien-, Epistel- und alttestamentliche Texte von Woche zu Woche ab, und jeder Sonn- und Feiertag hat nun zwei Lieder der Woche bzw. des Tages, darunter sehr viel mehr neue Lieder als bisher.In drei Publikationen hält die neue Ordnung vom Kirchenjahr 2018/2019 an Einzug in die Gottesdienste:Das Lektionar, das gottesdienstliche Vorlesebuch, enthält - natürlich in der Fassung der Lutherbibel 2017 - die drei biblischen Lesungen und die drei zusätzlichen Predigttexte jedes Sonn- und Festtags, dazu den jeweiligen Spruch, Gebetspsalm und Halleluja-Vers, schließlich die Angabe der beiden Lieder....
