Isolation and Selection of Faba Bean (Vicia faba L.) rhizobia

In the modern agriculture, farm experts have given primary attention to BNF as source of nitrogen to the crops. The lion share of BNF is undoubtedly overtaken by symbiotic N fixation by legume-Rhizobium association as it contributes about 64% of the biologically fixed N in terrestrial agricultural systems. Countries such as Pakistan, Brazil, Australia, and India had advanced experience with regard to utilization of elite nitrogen fixing rhizobia as inoculants to their legume crop.
