Implementing International Environmental Agreements

This book explores ways to improve the practical implementation of international environmental agreements at the local level. Through a specific case study approach in China and Australia, potential ways to improve the implementation of international environmental agreements are explored. Agreements relating to wetlands of international importance are looked at in detail. Incorporating top-down and bottom-up approaches, this book also showcases two specific case studies of internationally significant wetlands in both Australia and China.
