Herbicidal weed management in Maize

Major area of maize grown in India falls during Kharif season where weed has become one of the most important yield limiting factor. Most of the available herbicides provide only a narrow spectrum weed control.The pre-emergence application of atrazine + pendimethaline minimize a numbers of weed flora.
