4730 Xingmingzhou (1980 XZ) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on 7 December 1980, by Purple Mountain Observatory at Nanking, China. 4730 Xingmingzhou was named after Zhou Xingming (1965-2004), a meteorologist and comet hunter from China.
