Through the Looking Glass

We all have in us the need to find God; we just don't always acknowledge that need or maybe even know where to find Him. Even as a believer in Jesus I found myself looking for the 'secret to life' in the things of the world. It only led to a severe depression. In the midst of my darkest days God reached down and pulled me up and back into His light. He restored the goodness of life. There she was lazily daydreaming, when suddenly ... Alice even admits that although it all seemed natural at the time, she should have taken the time to wonder. Somewhere along my life's journey, I became curious and sleepy and stupid and found some rabbit-holes inviting. I didn't stop to consider. I just decided to follow a White Rabbit (or two). It wasn't intentional. It wasn't planned. It just happened. Like Alice, I found myself on an unexplainable search, looking for that elusive secret to life, the mystery of being all that I could be, the key to winning friends and influencing people, that hidden formula for the successful life. I knew there had to be White Rabbits out there that were willing to show me the way. I just had to find them. And suddenly, standing in a bookstore, I saw a White Rabbit right in front of me...
