Two side rails can be removed for young toddlers so that they can climb in and out of the crib with ease. One side may be removed for a three sided toddler bed. The entire top section may be removed for a platform bed. All the lumber used is sustainably harvested. The Raw option is sanded to a smooth finish so that you can select your own finish or enjoy the wood in its pure state. The exposed wood parts of the colored cribs are finished with an oil-wax finish that carries an IBN Certification. The colored rails use a water-based, lacquer finish.
