
Mustard is the third important oilseed crop in the world after soybean (Glycine max) and palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) oil. Among the seven edible oilseed cultivated in India, mustard (Brassica spp.) contributes 28.6% in the total oilseeds production.
